if any parent is looking for a school to send their child to I'll say the next Central City is the best way to go they really care for you they're there for you they make sure all the students that walk through them doors walk out as a better person I am a very culture-driven person um I love for the atmosphere to feel like family feel loving feel inviting but also like a sense of accountability and worth and every everybody here has a place it's a really nice welcoming kind culture um very positive a lot of people are here because they uh are serious about making progress with school and they support each other it's definitely more has on everybody has a connection by been the smaller school was only like 150 students but all not that at the same time compared to schools where it's like 4 to 500 students and School working at a near hand showed that you can build a family in an organization I would describe the staff in the building as being like a family everybody here comes together when we need to uh if we have disagreements or issues we do the same thing the kids do going to restoratives we work it out and then we move forward and really it's just it's just love and respect everybody in their love and respect each other because we trying to get these babies to do what they need to do what I like about the next Central City is that the teachers consider that we have things going on outside of school as well so they really helped us I can say because I came in with uh Miss Swansea being the principal and her not only reaching out to you and something going on you might look down celebrate your stuff birthday student birthdays very energetic hyper always willing to have those hard conversations with staff and students but also praising and bringing joy into each and 1 of Our Lives it is about all of us working together as a in 1 space um in a school you're having 1 experience but then you go into a different room and it's totally different right through that and see it's not real but when they feel it and all the different environments and spaces that they that they're in that is when they recognize okay this is people that are really walking the walk and not just talking to talk I just felt like I'm at home the teach is good the students good it's a good school me I hear about certified and each of you standing before us has met or exceeded the requirements for graduation set forth by the state of Louisiana and the next special City Charter School Lord diploma is now confirmed
