Congratulations to three NET graduates for receiving NET Alumni Scholarships at the Summer 2017 Graduation!!

Thanks to a generous donation from Superintendent John White, The NET provided $1,000 scholarships to three outstanding alumni.  All graduates were invited to apply by submitting their grades and responding to several reflection questions about post-graduation education.  We were very happy to award Eldridge Andrews (Summer 2016 grad), Wil’Leisha Landry (Fall 2014 grad), and Queoka Reddick (Summer 2015 grad) with scholarships.

Eldridge attends Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL for Music Production.  Wil’Leisha now attends the University of New Orleans majoring in Finance, having transferred from Dillard University after completing 50 credits.  Queoka is a Nursing major at Delgado Community College.  Their advice to NET students ranged from taking college seriously to not giving up and continuing to push towards goals.  

We are SO proud of these scholars for their continued perseverance through higher education and for taking advantage of various supports and opportunities!
